The consistency of the gum base you order is fundamental, and we need to ensure that the consistency remains the same during transport, storage and production. The consistency of the final product has more to do with the gum base softening point. We can deliver gum base in cold and heat-resistant forms, ideal for your storage conditions, and still achieve a high softening point during production of the final product.

Which consistency is best for you?

• Cold resistant gum base is popular with customers from colder climates.
• Heat resistant gum base is popular with customers from hotter countries.
• A normal gum base is best for temperate climates.
• Super soft gum base is a specialty product compatible with specific machines and end products.

What causes consistency to change?

Texture and consistency are usually adapted to transport and climate. That is why we send heat-resistant gum to warm countries and cold-resistant gum to colder countries. In both cases the gum can feel firm, especially in cold climates. The ingredients define the actual softening point for the finished product.
